Bank of Canada Rate Announcement

The Bank of Canada has decided to keep the interest rates unchanged for the second consecutive meeting. The benchmark overnight lending rate remains at 5%,  is the highest level we’ve seen in 22 years. While this move was anticipated by many, it’s the fourth time the officials have decided to hold back during this rate cycle.
